Set goals to get out of debt

Setting writing goals is important to my plan for getting out of debt. Without the income coming in from assignments and ads my goal might well be impossible. Creating daily content is challenging. When you are working for yourself any downtime translates into potential lost income.
A missed day for a blogger also means missed readers. Every blog needs readers to maintain or build long term viability (and you are very much appreciated here). Too many days ofblogging inactivity leads to missed goals, reduced revenue and unpaid bills. Taken alone, each one of these is a threat to getting out of debt. Combine them together and it is a recipe for disaster.

Coming up with daily content that won't put you to sleep is a challenge. I was delighted to find the article Setting Writing Goals and Meeting Them online. Not only does it cover the importance of goal setting but the writer gives clear and practical tips for crossing the finish line. It's worth taking the time to read the article.

One of the tips that I picked up is to create a spreadsheet. Right now all of my article ideas are on a single Word document. The spreadsheet makes sense for article development and for tracking getting out of debt. We've got a bill to pay off so I'm going to get back to writing. It's one of those goals that I'm working on. How about you?

  1. Congrats on those paid items showing up in your list of debts to pay off. I'm sure that is VERY satisfying!! Keep on keeping on. rcj
