Coupons cut vacation costs

We are traveling in a few days and will use free coupons to cut vacation costs. I can wait for the magic of Walt Disney World to carry me back to childhood. Coupons are a way to save money when we travel without feeling deprived (or guilty).

Living between two larger cities lets me easily pick up newspapers for each one. When coupons for a Firestone oil change came out I made sure to keep it. The $10 savings cuts the vacation costs right off the bat and helps in other ways.

Chief among these advantages is one stop shopping. Because they accept coupons from competitors we will be using the discount at Wal-Mart.

Right now, Wal-Mart is discounting gas by .10 cents per gallon when you use a shopping card. I will buy a card for gas and use anything left on the oil change or lunch from Wal-Mart.

Vacation costs will be cut by using coupons, saving on gasoline and picking up supplies all at the same place. One travel stop is eliminated, money is saved and it cuts out some stress.

I also have free coupons for Denny's, Red Lobster, Ruby Tuesday, Olive Garden, Logan's and a gift card for Cracker Barrel. Splurging is part of the fun of a vacation. Coupons will reduce the vacation costs and you can bet we won't feel deprived.

Restaurants like Red Lobster and Logan's aren't places we frequent. Dining there on our travels will be a treat. Coupons encourage us to watch for these restaurants as we travel. I'll also be looking at welcome and tourism centers for free coupons for local restaurants.

Special booking at Walt Disney World got us the free dining plan. Daily, we'll get a free snack, quick service and a table service meals. This package really cuts our vacation costs. The on-site motel costs for our budget resort are the same as other non-peak times of the year.
