Update: We paid off our pop-up camper

I have a happy update to share about our getting out of debt journey. You may recall that a few months ago we purchased a used pop-up camper. We enjoy traveling and anticipated that the camper would pay for itself in fairly short order. Well, it did.

With the camper we are able to stay at national and state park campgrounds in Tennessee for around $20 per night. Some state park and national park campgrounds that do not offer electricity charge even less. To compare costs, our last hotel stay in June was just over $100 per night. That's a pretty big savings.

Saving the money allowed us to pay off the pop-up camper today! I was so excited!! That's a $50 per month payment that is now  off our backs. We're going to roll that amount into another bill next month. Hopefully, news to share then.

But, there is more good news for right now. You know how I've talked about paying extra on our car payment each month? It turns out that our final payment is due next month. And, it's only a partial amount. I feel like are really getting some place with getting out of debt and it feels great!
